You would have thought Vivica was over 50 Cent after he played her in public! Apparently whatever he was giving her is better than public humiliation because home girl is 50’s next leading lady for his “Do You Think About Me” video. Even the name of the song sounds like he’s further dissing her on the sly.

Excitement surrounding the film Precious continues to grow as the gripping tale of a young woman’s struggle to overcome her past opens in other theaters this weekend. The film’s main character is Claireece “Precious” Jones, an abused teen mother who is dark-skinned, overweight and illiterate. The movie grossed 6.1 million over the weekend.

MIKE TYSON ARRESTED AT LAX

BOXER Mike Tyson has reportedly been arrested following an incident with paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport.Spokesperson for Tyson, Tammy Brook, says the boxer was making his way to LA with his wife and 10-month old child when he was allegedly attacked by overzealous paparrazzi. He was acting in self-defence to protect his child, Brook said. He is believed to have been arrested over an assault.

JANET & WHITNEY WILL PERFORM AT THE 2009 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

Just when you thought the star power at the 2009 American Music Awards couldn’t get any brighter, Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston have been announced as performers. Jackson, who releases her greatest hits album Number Ones on November 17, will open the 37th annual show by performing a medley of hits spanning her illustrious career.Whitney Houston is also set to return to the AMA stage for her first primetime U.S. network performance in five years. She will sing her powerhouse ballad “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” and receive the International Artist Award. The 2009 American Music Awards will air live from the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 22, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

RIHANNA PREMIERE’S VIDEO “RUSSIAN ROULETTE”

Rihanna is set to premiere the video for “Russian Roulette,” the official lead single from her forthcoming album, Rated R, at a yet-unspecified time Friday on ABC. In yet another instance of her promotional schedule colliding with that of her former boyfriend Chris Brown, his new video, “Crawl,” will premiere on the same day.

Chris Brown set to debut “Crawl” on Wendy Williams

As if things couldn’t get any worse on Friday the 13th. Well according to label reps, Chris Brown is scheduled to pay Wendy Williams a visit this Friday at 10am on Fox for a brief and “exclusive” pow wow session discussing, yep you guessed it, the night in question. Oh and he’s debuting the visual to THIS as well!

RIHANNA REFUSES A 10,000 DOLLAR BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE

Rihanna apparently sent back a $10,000  bottle of champagne because she didn’t know the people who bought it for her. The singer, who was at LA nightclub The Bank with friends, was given a bottle of bubbly as a present from American footballer Braylon Edwards and his teammates. One onlooker is quoted by the New York Post as saying: “She didn’t know who they were, so she sent it back.” Edwards reportedly introduced himself to Rihanna later in the evening.

DENZEL WASHINGTON BACK ON BROADWAY

Oscar winner Denzel Washington, after a spin aboard the 6 train in “The Taking of Pelham 123,” is back on the Broadway local. The handsome star of the big screen returns to the Great White Way next April as the lead in a revival of August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama “Fences”. He steps into the role of patriarch Troy Maxson, originally played by James Earl Jones in the 1987 production. The show received the Tony award for best play along with its Pulitzer. Washington, 54, was last seen on Broadway in 2005 playing Brutus in the revival of “Julius Caesar.”

TRACY MORGAN’S SHOW GETS WALKED OUT ON

The comedian and “30 Rock” star was performing as part of the New York Comedy Festival, but fans were not laughing as they walked out on Morgan’s bawdy routine. The Daily News, the first to report the story quotes a source saying: “There was a continuous flow of people getting up and leaving throughout the show.” The paper said that middle-aged women were the most appalled, especially when Morgan started acting out sexual escapades on stage. But not everyone was offended, not even close. “The audience members around  were mostly in their 20’s and 30’s and were enjoying the raunchiness.
