Soulja Boy and Jo Jo (Rev. Run’s son) are beefing via the popular social network, Twitter.

Well what had happened was…..

Jo Jo tweeted “Lyrically Soulja Boy ain’t too dope but musically he’s a genius this joint right here kinda catchy,” and posted a link to his song “Patriotic”.

Was that a compliment hidden in there?? Maybe.

Enraged Soulja Boy retweeted Jo Jo saying, “Lyrically, I ain’t dope? Kinda catchy? Watch your mouth bruh…”. Of course that tweet was deleted off his page before Simm’s saw it but he heard about it and decided to retweet. Just in case, of course.

Jo Jo replied to the tweet he didn’t see saying, “That Soulja Boy gotta be fake. If I ain’t see it then I don’t believe it and it ain’t there.”

Oprah is here to set the rumors straight. She is finally speaking out on 2 of the hottest entertainment and news stories-Chris Brown beating Rihanna and Michael Jackson’s death. Sorta. Big O said, “I talk about what I want to talk about.” Oprah does not support people that hurt children and especially men that beat on women.” She also says her show is not just about interviews, but about only touching lives in a GOOD positive way. I guess that can’t be done by discussing either superstars on her show.

The tables have turned. Who would imagine Oprah turning down the prince of R&B and the King of Pop.

On the other hand, Chris is back to work and has been spotted at different studios.

Yesterday I said that Nas said he was in NY awaiting the birth of his baby and that he was NOT allowed to witness the birth. It seems strange that Kelis would not even let the father of their soon-to-be-born child witness the birth. Well, would it change your mind if you found out that Nas was DRUNK and that was why he was not let into the delivery room?

We’ll just say he was doing a pre-birth celebration. NOT. Nas, get it together!!

Nas continued his celebration last night and in his performance he announced the baby was named Knight.

HOVA finally speaks on the BET Awards and Chris Brown’s Performance. Tim Westwood took the interview. Jay-Z starts out by boldly denying any association with Chris Brown’s canceled performance at the 2009 Bet Awards. He states he does NOT have a problem with C. Breezy and that if he did he would take it to him. Doing anything of that nature would be considered “a sucker move.”

As for the Game’s diss, Jay-Z told him even though he said both the Game and Dame’s name he refers to them both as “groupies” and “to get over it.” He concludes, “If that’s a diss, then wear that. Tell groupie to get over it.”

Crocs apparently are ONLY a fad that are going OUT of style. Even though they sold more than 100 million pairs since being introduced in 2002. Insiders have told me that if they don’t pay their debt by their September deadline, they will be OVER.

Sidenote: Did you know that if you were stuck on a desert island and had nothing but your crocs, you could melt them down and eat them??!! Wow. Not only are they comfortable but now they are supposedly edible too.

The war between Nas and Kelis now includes the baby boy she delivered yesterday. And the drama continues….

Nas was not present during the birth. This is not his fault though. The rapper explained to AllHipHop.com that he was in New York City waiting for the birth of his son, but he was not allowed to be present. Nas also stated although he was hurt by this factor, he still planned on being active in the boy’s life, and planned on providing him with financial support.

Oddly enough, Nas and Kelis were supposed to be in court on yesterday regarding their divorce-specifically their child and spousal support.

Despite all of the drama between them that keeps unfolding into more mayhem, I want to congratulate them BOTH on the birth of their child!

Someone needs to talk with Lebron James about his attitude. King James ego has gotten bigger, if possible. This time Lebron dissed the kids at Mo Williams’ basketball camp at Jackson State University. He came in just before it ended, gave a short speech, shot a few free throws and left. He did not allow anyone to take pictures of him, shake his hand, sign autographs, or give ONE hug. Wow. Walking away from your teammates and being a bad sport is pretty awful; walking away from the kids like he did is the worst.

One of the kids even said, “…I’m through repin’ Lebron. He’s a jerk, and I’m going find me a new player to rep.” WOW.

King James this is strike TWO.

Chris Brown is going to the Oprah Show. Word is Oprah wants to get to the bottom of the situation between him and Rihanna. This will be interesting because he does not want to talk about the night he beat Rihanna. That’s odd because thats what we want him to talk about. I don’t see why he can’t talk about it, he’s already been charged.

Adam “MCA” Yauch of Beastie Boys has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his left salivary(parotid) gland. This cancer will not affect his vocal cords. It was localized in one section and since it is at such an early stage it is considered treatable. The tumor requires surgery and continuous treatment.

As a result of finding this new cancerous tumor the Beastie Boys are cancelling all upcoming concerts and appearances. This also means that their new album (Hot Sauce Committee Part 1) will also be pushed back.

Beastie Boys have canceled all upcoming concert appearances to allow time for Yauch’s surgery and recovery. The release of the band’s forthcoming album Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 will also be pushed back.

Yauch has released a statement about his illness which can be found on beastieboys.com in which he states that he did not want to take time off but that the doctors were insistent upon it.
