There is a 15 year old Canadian kid whom came in second place in a singing contest by the name of Justin Bieber.  He has been posting video’s of him singing on Youtube.  Scooter Braun a former So So Def marketing executive discovered him.  Then he found himself singing in an audition like setting for ATL’s own Usher Raymond.  Now Justin Bieber has singed a contract with ISLAND DEF JAM RECORDS.  Stop the press, he is in the ATL recording his first album as we speak titled MY WORLD due out later this year. 

Lil Kim is number one in my book and according to America she’s number one.  Lil Kim survived another night on Dancing With the Stars.  So we will see her next week.  Remember your vote is what keeps her going, so don’t just watch the show, VOTE FOR LIL KIM.  She has been dancing circles around the other contestants.   GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO KIM!!!!!

“I was completely humiliated in front of my co-workers and guests”.  These are the words of Sara Robinson a beverage manager at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.  She filed a lawsuit against NBA great Dennis Rodman after he slapped her on the behind and grabbed her and tried to force her to dance with him.  A federal judge has ruled in her favor, so Dennis was ordered to pay her 225,000 dollars for smacking her on the butt without permission.  She hit the jackpot and she was not gambling.

Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai were both sent packing from American Idol last night.  I hate to see Lil Rounds go, but she didn’t come on with it.  She has a powerful voice, but she was always holding back.  Anoop Desai was also booted from the show, because the judges used the new save rule last week.  Now for weeks I have been saying that Adam should be our next American Idol.  He is so talent until he could give the rest of the contestants some and still beat them.  Adam is an entertainer.  Now word is, Paula will also get the boot next season.  Paula says that this is just a nasty rumor, that was started by Simon.  This was a rumor that was around at the beginning of the season, we’ll see Paula.

On June 25th Anthony Hamilton will bring his PLAYIN’ IT COOL tour to The Fox Theater.  Now you know that Anthony is a show all by himself, but he is sharing the stage with Musiq Soul Child and Chrisette Michele.  If I don’t do nothing else, I will be in the house on that night.  Child I may take off work that Friday…lol 

ATL’s own Usher Raymond was hanging out with President Obama as he signed the new 5.7 billion dollar national service act.  The first black president Bill Clinton, lol, was also on hand along with Sen. Ted Kennedy to witness the signing.  The event took place at SEED School in Washington D. C.  Usher also went to the White house to discuss malaria in Africa and other global issues.  President Obama was not there, he was headed to Iowa.  Girl I know if ever there was a chance for me to go to The White House, it’s now.

Congratulations to Jennifer Hudson and her fiance’ David Otunga, it has been confirmed through Essence magazine that they are expecting there first child.  Jennifer Hudson is pregnant!!!!  CONGRATULATIONS GIRL!

R & B singer Jill Scott is a proud mom for the first time.  Jill gave birth to a healthy seven pound baby.  Jett Hamilton Roberts is his name.  Jill Scott said that she was married for 5 years, but she could not conceive a child until now.  Grandma always said that God knows best and what he has for you is for you. 

Ok, LIL KIM has been doing her part, so hopefully we are voting to make sure that she is  the next DANCING WITH THE STARS CHAMP!  I’m so proud of her, last night she was extra graceful.  All of the ladies of the Hip-Hop community should be very proud of the way Lil Kim is representing them on Dancing With the Stars.  Someone is going home tonight and it should be Ty Murray, but Lawrence Taylor received the lowest score.

Rick Ross’ new cd titled DEEPER THAN RAP is in stores today.  Guest artist on the album are Kanye West, John Legend, Lil Wayne, The Dream, Robin Thicke, Nas, Ne-Yo, Trina and Foxy Brown.  Now according to Rick Ross this is the album that is suppose to end 50 Cents career.  I don’t know why he is barking up that tree again.  Rick just let 50 alone, you are just like somebody else I know, love to start something, but can’t take it!
