This is an old picture of Beyonce, all juiced up.  Beyonce recently did an interview with China Daily where she said that “I don’t drink often, but when I’m DRUNK, I’m very quiet and I observe and I go to sleep.  I don’t think I’m much fun”.  She also said “I have no intention of ever getting high, because I’m far from impressed by the behavior of drug users and abusers I’ve met.  I’ve always said I would never do it (drugs).  I’ve never seen a person who was high and thought, Wow, I want to do that!  I’m like, that’s cool for them, but no thank you.  I’ll just have my wine.”  Beyonce is getting ready to perform at the Oscar’s, they are not saying what song she will be singing, but PLEASE CALL ETTA JAMES if you are going to sing AT LAST!!!!!

Beyonce’s sister Solange is a whole different story.  Solange recently wrote on her twitter blog “I took a Nyquil and I think maybe I’m getting high off it because I’m not sleeping.  Maybe I should close my eyes.”  later she wrote “Never taking Nyquil again.  I feel so weird.”  Then three hours later “Woah…How’d I end up in the hospital?  Woke up to eight random people over me, laid out on the floor in baggage claim!…Hooked up to I-V.”  the last posting read “I’m out! Yay!”

Solange will be on the road with ESTELLE for a few of her concerts.  Estelle keep and eye on Solange, I think this is one of the habits that she picked up from Lil Wayne, you know that they were hanging out for a little while.  A lot of people thought that they were a couple, but they were filming a video.

Suge Knight was attending an All-Star Weekend wrap-up party,  put on by 944 Magazine and he was beatdown again.  AKON, hosted the party and the man that punched Suge’s lights out was said to be Akon’s business manager, however Akon’s publicist released a statement saying “He is not Akon’s business manager, David Bolno is.  He is with Akon’s camp.

The event was held at the W Hotel and hotel security called the police, because he felt like something was getting ready to jump off between the two groups in VIP.  The police arrived just in time to see Robert Carnes Jr. deliver a punch to Suge Knights face.  He was charged with one count of felony aggravated assault, due to the severity of the victim’s injuries.  Another man was arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.  Suge, if you want to party at clubs, you should hang out at the gay clubs, because the thugs are not respecting you at all child. 

The NAACP IMAGE AWARDS were held last night and congratulations to my sister KESHIA KNIGHT PULLIAM she won the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.  House of Payne received four awards including Outstanding Comedy Series.  Jennifer Hudson collected three awards, one for Outstanding New Artist, Outstanding Album and one for Outstanding Duo or Group for her song with Fantasia IM HIS ONLY WOMAN.  Top movie honors went to THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES.  Sean Combs and Phylicia Rashad received awards for their roles in A RAISIN IN THE SUN.  Outstanding Male and Female artist are Jamie Foxx and  Beyonce.  Outstanding Actress and Actor in a Drama Series honors went to Angela Bassett for ER and Taye Diggs for his role on Private Practice.  Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture, Will Smith for his role in Seven Pounds.  Outstanding Supporting Actor and Actress in a Motion Picture are Columbus Short for his role in Cadillac Records and Taraji P. Henson for her role in Curious Case of Benjamin Button.  Will-I-Am received two awards for his son YES WE CAN, one for Outstanding Song and another for Outstanding Music Video.  Muhannad Ali received the President’s Award and Russell Simmons received the Vanguard Award.

American Idol season 8 is set, the top 36 contestants were picked last night.  I like American Idol, but last night i ended up changing to the basketball game, because i was not in the mood to watch a show that was killing peoples dreams during these hard times.  The economy is bad, people are being fired from there jobs and to put more pain on top of that is just mean.  I’ll watch the show, but last night was a bit much and they let some of the best people go. 

Estelle, the singer that sings AMERICAN BOY will be in concert here in the ATL on March 12th at Centerstage.  She has set the stage on fire everytime i’ve seen her perform.  She won a grammy this year, so I will not miss this show for the world.  Kanye West might show up for those of you that care for him, he wants less fans.  Estelle is pretty, talented and she has a style that is all her on, so you would want to be at Centerstage on March 12th.

Chris Brown has lost several endorsements and Rihanna has canceled several concerts.  Everybody wants to know what set things off, first there was the rumor that she gave him herpes.  Reports are now coming out that Chris Brown received an explicit text while they were in the car, a booty call, and Rihanna saw it and went off.  She slapped him and he pulled the car over, then she took the keys and threw them out of the window.  He got out to get the keys, then she got out of the car, he was trying to get her back in the car with force, then he hit her and started choking her.  While he was choking her, he said that he was going to kill her.  She told the police that she lost consciousness.  Pictures were taken of her at the scene and at the hospital and the police said that he really beat her up bad.  This is very serious, there is talk of the DA filing Attempted Murder charges against Chris Brown.

JAY-Z has come out and said that Chris Brown needs to watch his back, because he is not happy at all with what he has done to Rihanna. 

More details are coming out about Tameka Foster Raymond’s complications from plastic surgery.  She is still in the hospital in Brazil, and now we know that she went into cardiac and respiratory arrest after complications with anesthesia.  She was unresponsive and was placed in an induced coma for 24 hours.  Usher is with her and she is now being cared for by a neurosurgeon from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.  Keep her and Usher’s family in your prayers.

I know one thing for sure, if Chris Brown has not learned anything else, he has learned to keep his hands to himself.  Yesterday Wrigley’s Gum dropped him, he will not be apart of the NBA ALL STAR WEEKEND, now the GOT MILK campaign has kicked him to the curve and a radio station in Cleveland has stopped playing his music.  Grandma said that we should learn from other peoples mistakes, so to all of the bad boys take note.

His former step-father, Donnelle Hawkins, told Access Hollywood that he is not suprised if the singer is found guilty of these charges for beating up his girlfriend.  He also said that he and Chris’ mother had a rocky marriage, but he nerver physically abused Chris or his mother.  He admits that he spanked Chris one time.

Jennifer Hudson will hit the road soon on tour with Robin Thicke for 5 weeks.  I’m so excited about seeing Jennifer in concert and I know that you are too.  The tour will kick-off in Philadelphia on April 2nd.  No other dates have been released, but she will hit the ATL.  I really want to attend the opening show in Philadelphia….REGGIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE 

Well, well, well our first lady MICHELLE OBAMA will grace the March cover of Vogue magazine.  Hillary is the only other first lady to make the magazine cover.  Michelle is going to wear her own cloths and this is something that is out of the norm, but since she has an eye for fashion, Vogue is letting her do her. I’m sure that this issue will sell like hot cakes.
