Well it was going to happen soon or later. One of the contestants on the new season of American Next Top Model was born male. ISIS is his/her name and if anybody don’t think that she has what it takes to win, you better think again. She’s transgender, born male, but lives as a woman, because he beleives that he should have been born a she. The 2 hour season premiere of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL airs on September 3rd at 8pm.
As you know USHER rehired his mom as his manager, so GOD has given him HIS approval. USHER will perform at the years opening concert of the 2008 N-F-L opening season. Last year our very own KEYSHIA COLE performed, so congratulations to USHER. Hopefully next year they will invite an R&B singer to perform during the Superbowl Half-Time Show, because they need some entertainment bad. It’s time to move on from the JANET JACKSON mishap!
Remember when FANTASIA was in the broadway show THE COLOR PURPLE MUSICAL and she missed a lot of shows. People were very upset with her because they paid good money to see her only to find out when they got to the show that her understudy was performing. Well now we are learning that she had a tumor in her throat and that’s why she missed so many performances. She thought that when she tasted blood, it was because she wore braces and she was bitting her gums or lip. The doctors told her mother after the surgery that the tumor was actually bigger than they thought and ordered her not to talk or sing for 6 weeks. BUT don’t worry!! FANTASIA is fine now, it’s just hard to get her to leave YUNG DRO’s side long enough to do anything. You can catch her at the ATLANTA CIVIC CENTER on the 23rd of this month with RICKEY SMILEY. V103’s own WANDA SMITH will host the show. FANTASIA will also do a tribute to PATTI LABELLE along with DIONNE WARWICK and JOSS STONE at this years U.N.C.F. EVENING OF STARS.

SEAN PAUL was arrested over the weekend in Sweeden at a Reggae Festival along with 10 other people. They were smoking weed in front of the police. That was some good weed if they were that high. SEAN PAUL also had in his possession a large quantity of what appeared to be marijuana. Charges are pending until the results come back from the lab. SEAN PAUL is too cute to be in jail, don’t drop the soap Sean!
In New York yesterday, a limo driver called the police… the police came out to investigate… and when it was all said and done YUNG BERG was in cuffs. He was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana and threatening behavior. YUNG BERG may be in jail, but his new cd, LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME, is in stores today. YUNG BERG is so high he forgot that his cd was coming out today.

KANYE WEST surprised concert goers lastnight in MADISON SQUARE GARDEN by having JAY-Z come out to perform an exclusive track off his upcoming album. The song “JOCKING JAY-Z” had the NYC crowd in a frenzy!! Fans weren’t the only ones caught off-guard. JAY-Z was just there to see the show and had no intentions on performing until KANYE asked him backstage.
There was a crazy rumor that KHIA’S new album NASTI MUZIK sold over a million copies it’s first week! HA! Come to find out the official count was an embarassing 1,435!!! (KHIA needs to thank our very own PORSCHE FOXX for being able to sell even that much.)
Well, we’ve been keeping track of sales since the first week and congratulated KHIA for selling 10 more copies of her NASTI CD last week. Well, unfortunately we spoke too soon. After 8 CDs were returned to the stores, KHIA is basically back where she started. Sources tell us that starting next week you’ll be able to get a free copy of NASTI MUSIK with any purchase at local retailers. They need more space on the shelves for music people want to hear.
From the looks of it KHIA has a better shot at getting a reality show, because the music business is not being too kind to her. She is a hell of an actress, but a little over 1400 CD’S being sold is REAL. Apparently, being a guest on different shows and going off on the host and hostess didn’t work in her favor…WHAT’S NEXT KHIA?
RIHANNA and CHRIS BROWN may be engaged! The couple still denies they’re an item, despite being seen and photographed kissing and cuddling all over town. Now rumors are buzzing there may be a wedding in the works. Rihanna has been seen wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger. We’ll have to keep a close eye on this one.
