The people that own the rights to the ROLLING STONE’S music have filed a lawsuit against LIL WAYNE. The lawsuit claims that LIL WAYNE’S song PLAY WITH FIRE is an altered version of their song PLAY WITH FIRE, and he did not have permission to do that. You must listen to the song. The original song lyrics say “BUT DON’T PLAY WITH ME, ‘CAUSE YOU’RE PLAYING WITH FIRE” and LIL WAYNE’S says “BUT YOU CAN’T BLAME ME IF I SET THIS STAGE ON FIRE.” You have to listen to both songs and follow the story to get the point. LIL WAYNE has made millions of dollars selling albums, but he may have to release a couple milli if the publishing company wins.
50 CENT is upset with the new “79, 89 and 99 cent items…. Why pay more?” campaign. Apparently TACO BELL tried to be slick and give consumers the impression 50 CENT was endorsing TACO BELL, which he is not! He has filed a lawsuit saying he did not give his permission and was not paid a fee. Many people actually believed 50 CENT was endorsing TACO BELL’S products and began labeling the rapper a “sell-out.” 50 CENT has picked a fight with everybody in the rap world, now he’s picking on the little TACO BELL DOG. He better leave that dog alone, didn’t he hear what happened to MICHAEL VICK.
Well, CNN had every Black person in America watching to see what mind-blowing segment they’ve put together. So far……. They’ve only repeated all the statistics we already know! Tell us something new! Tell us how to fix the problem! Y’all could have told us that y’all just wanted some ratings!
CHRISTINE, DANNY’S intern, said that y’all could have cut that two hour show into a 15 minute segement on LARRY KING LIVE… She was being kind, I said that it could have been a three or four minute news story on BET NEWS. “This just in… BLACKS IN AMERICA: All those disturbing statistics we’ve told you about before are still true.”
… NAS doesn’t need a title to be number 1!! This week NAS’ new UNTITLED album has taken the number 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. This caused LIL’ WAYNE’S THE CARTER III to step down to number two after spending weeks on top. This is NAS’ fifth No.1 album. He only sold 187, 000 copies, compared to his last album HIP HOP IS DEAD, which sold 354,000 over Christmas week.
According to FORBES MAGAZINE, last year’s earning of $80 million made WILL SMITH the highest paid film star of ‘07! JOHNNY DEPP made 72 million dollars landing him in the number 2 spot. EDDIE MURPHY and MIKE MEYERS tied for third place they each earned $55 million. CAMERON DIAZ was the highest paid female film star, earning 50 million dollars. OPRAH WINFREY put all of them to shame with the 275 million dollars that she made last year. OPRAH CALL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
…No she’s not throwing phones again. Well, not yet. The Ritz Carlton in Moscow has accused her of burning holes in the hotel’s $400 silk sheets during her and billionaire VLADISLAV DORONIN’S recent stay. She denies damaging the sheets and refuses to pay the bill. They are lucky that she didn’t hit them with the hotel phone, because she will bust you in the face with a phone. I don’t know why she don’t have a phone endorsement.
TYLER PERRY has signed a new 3 year deal with longtime studio partner, LIONSGATE. TYLER PERRY is set to release “THE FAMILY THAT PREYS” September 12th and ” MADEA GOES TO JAIL” Februaury 20, 2009. According to the new agreement we can expect 3 more movies after that!… I’M STILL WAITING ON A CALL TO PLAY MADEA’S SISTER OR SOMETHING…TYLER CALL ME.
