R&B singer MARIO will do his thang at Six Flags tonight and it’s going to be just what the kids need for the summer.  MARIO stopped by THE FRANK AND WANDA MORNING SHOW and he has a new gained respect from me.  We talked about some things off the air, that i will not go into, but he loves entertaining and ladies he’s single.  Now i will say this from our conversation that the young lady that captures his heart is going to be on top of the world, because he has some things that he is just dying to share with that one special person.  KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MARIO, and may God continue to bless you and your wonderful spirit.

TIGER WOODS entered the 2008 US OPENS and won, althought his doctors advised him to sit it out, because he suffered a double stress fracture of his left tibia two weeks before the tournament. The same knee that he had surgery on back in April.  Now he has to have major knee surgery and  go through a long rehabilitating procedure that will take him out for the rest of the season, but knowing Tiger he’ll be back sooner than expected, because he’s not made of the stuff that you and i are made of…WE’RE PRAYING AND PULLING FOR YOU TIGER.  Now he can spend some quality time with his wife and kid. 

MICHELLE OBAMA did an outstanding job as a co-host on THE VIEW.  They covered a lot of ground.  She talked about her family, her husband and the media.  Now she said althought they have been in politics for a while, when Barack told her that he wanted to run for President of the United States, her initial reaction was NO, but once she stop looking at it selfishly, she asked herself what kind of leader Michelle Obama would want for her country? I would want one with the qualities of Barack Obama, so why not let my husband, BARACK OBAMA run this country. The hate comes with the job and when we discussed Barack putting his name in the hat, that was to be expected, the mud slinging, but don’t expect that kind of politics from us.  Barack and Michelle are in love, they both love this country, they respect each other, and they put a lot of work into raising there kids…NOW THIS IS A POWER COUPLE and the kind of leadership that our country needs.    

RAY ALLEN, KEVIN GARNETT and PAUL PIERCE of the BOSTON CELTICS

Congratulations to the BOSTON CELTICS, they are the 2008 NBA CHAMPIONS.  PAUL PIERCE received the MVP AWARD.  They beat the Lakers 131 to 92, Koby did what he could, but he needed some help.  This was the BOSTON CELTICS coach DOC RIVERS first NBA CHAMPIONSHIP as well as KEVIN GARNETTS, whom a lot of people were pulling for. RAY ALLEN did his thing as well, but congratulations to the entire BOSTON CELTICS organization, they had the worst record in the NBA last year and this year they are the NBA CHAMPS

Well 50 CENT is up to his old tricks again.  He did an interview with FORBES magazine and he was wearing a wedding band, now everybody is asking if he and CIARA have pulled a BEYONCE and JAY-Z, had a private wedding.  The rumor of CIARA and 50 CENT going together has been on the streets for a while.  You can’t put nothing pass 50, because he loves free press.  Let’s see how far he’s going to take this.

MICHELLE OBAMA, the wife of Presidential hopeful BARACK OBAMA will co-host with the ladies on THE VIEW today.  Have fun Michelle and don’t worry about the media.  WHOPPI GOLDBERG got your back

Congratulations to LIL WAYNE he sold over a million copies of his THA CARTER III album the first week.  A lot of people didn’t think that it could be done, because it leaked out on the internet before it’s official release.  Usher would have sold a million copies his first week, but the downloads on the internet hurt his sales.  The last album to sell a million copies the first week was 50 CENT’S THE MASSACRE, back in 2005.  KANYE WEST sold 950,000 the first week he released GRADUATION and it took JAY-Z 7 months to go over the million mark with the release of his AMERICAN GANGSTER album. It’s hard for artist to sell 2 or 3 hundred thousand copies of an album the first week, but LIL WAYNE has given the artist new hope.
