Over the weekend, DMX was arrested yet again. He didn’t show up for a Phoenix court date, and had a warrant out for his arrest. He was picked up outside of a Miami Walmart and will be held without bond until his October court date.

According to his lawyer, DMX didn’t show up for the Phoenix court date because he checked into the hospital that day. (Hopefully he used his real name so they can support his allibi.) His lawyer also claims that DMX was planning on entering a rehab facility and was arranging to turn himself in at the airport.  He always turn his life over to the lord and getting ready to do the right thing when he ends up in jail.  Well read that bible while you’re in jail and you just might be blessed to stay out of jail.  Let’s see DMX no more smoking, no more drinking, and no more driving like a fool.  Oh well he’ll be back in jail, because in order for him to do all of this he will have to get saved and become a preacher.

CHRIS BROWN’S upset that his song “Electric Guitar,” has been leaked.  The song is supposed to be a duet between CHRIS BROWN and RIHANNA, but the leaked version is incomplete and lacking RIHANNA’S vocals.

Don’t sweat it CHRIS!  It’s hard to stay mad when you’re up for a VMA.  CHRIS BROWN’S video for “FOREVER” is up for Video of the Year.  He’s up against Madonna, The Jonas Brothers, and the Pussycat Dolls.  Other artists with VMA nominations include KANYE WEST, RIHANNA, LIL’ WAYNE and JORDIN SPARKS.  I don’t know how the girl on the Marta train was not nominated for video of the year.

You’ve heard of the Mad Rapper?  Well JOE is turning out to be the Mad R&B singer.  Last week he was complaining that R KELLY tried to sabotage his career.  Now he’s mad at TERRENCE HOWARD for releasing an album.  He complained about HOWARD’S attitude.  According to JOE, HOWARD is amongst other celebs who’ve treated him like he was “nobody” and now he’s further annoyed that the actor is stepping on his toes by crossing over into the R&B scene.

JAY-Z is reportedly making big moves with a deal in the works that would turn Vegas’ 40/40 into the largest sports booking operation in existence.  JAY-Z would be selling 50% of the Vegas’ 40/40 club to the Las Vegas Sands Corp, owners of the Venetian and the Palazzo.  Not only that, but the contract would allow Las Vegas Sands Corp. to open 40/40 clubs in London and across Europe.

Remember when FANTASIA was in the broadway show THE COLOR PURPLE MUSICAL and she missed a lot of shows.  People were very upset with her because they paid good money to see her only to find out when they got to the show that her understudy was performing.  Well now we are learning that she had a tumor in her throat and that’s why she missed so many performances.  She thought that when she tasted blood, it was because she wore braces and she was bitting her gums or lip.  The doctors told her mother after the surgery that the tumor was actually bigger than they thought and ordered her not to talk or sing for 6 weeks.  BUT don’t worry!!  FANTASIA is fine now, it’s just hard to get her to leave YUNG DRO’s side long enough to do anything.  You can catch her at the ATLANTA CIVIC CENTER on the 23rd of this month with RICKEY SMILEY.  V103’s own WANDA SMITH will host the show.  FANTASIA will also do a tribute to PATTI LABELLE along with DIONNE WARWICK and JOSS STONE at this years U.N.C.F. EVENING OF STARS.

In New York yesterday, a limo driver called the police… the police came out to investigate… and when it was all said and done YUNG BERG was in cuffs.  He was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana and threatening behavior.  YUNG BERG may be in jail, but his new cd, LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME, is in stores today.  YUNG BERG is so high he forgot that his cd was coming out today.

KANYE WEST surprised concert goers lastnight in MADISON SQUARE GARDEN by having JAY-Z come out to perform an exclusive track off his upcoming album.  The song “JOCKING JAY-Z” had the NYC crowd in a frenzy!! Fans weren’t the only ones caught off-guard. JAY-Z was just there to see the show and had no intentions on performing until KANYE asked him backstage.

There was a crazy rumor that KHIA’S new album NASTI MUZIK sold over a million copies it’s first week!  HA!  Come to find out the official count was an embarassing 1,435!!!  (KHIA needs to thank our very own PORSCHE FOXX for being able to sell even that much.) 

Well, we’ve been keeping track of sales since the first week and congratulated KHIA for selling 10 more copies of her NASTI CD last week.  Well, unfortunately we spoke too soon.  After 8 CDs were returned to the stores, KHIA is basically back where she started.  Sources tell us that starting next week you’ll be able to get a free copy of NASTI MUSIK with any purchase at local retailers.  They need more space on the shelves for music people want to hear.

From the looks of it KHIA has a better shot at getting a reality show, because the music business is not being too kind to her.  She is a hell of an actress, but a little over 1400 CD’S being sold is REAL.  Apparently,  being a guest on different shows and going off on the host and hostess didn’t work in her favor…WHAT’S NEXT KHIA?
