I went to TINA TURNER’S concert lastnight at the Phillip’s Arena and BABYYYYYYYYYY……  It was SIMPLY THE BEST!  How about I was originally sitting in section 114, when some man came up to me and asked how many people were in my party.  When I told him 2, he asked if we would want to go sit in the front row!!!  Are you kidding me???  The front row of a TINA TURNER concert……. Uhhh YEAH!!!  So we moved down to the front and watched the show from what felt like the best seats in the house.

Now let me tell you.  TINA TURNER is 72 years old, but the way she was moving and shaking would have had BEYONCE struggling to keep up!  She had at least 6 different outfits, back up dancers, explosions… She even walked out on this huge crane that took her to different sections of the audience.  Did I mention the show was sold out?  Two nights in a row!!!  Yes Ma’am!  You go TINA!  If you want to see some pictures check out the V-Scene photo gallery!

Just about the only person not at FSO this weekend was GUCCI MANE.  GUCCI was in court Saturday when the judge decided he wasn’t a good candidate for probation.  GUCCI MANE was issued probation and given 600 hours community service after he hit a promoter up top the head with a pool cue in 2006.  Well, not only was GUCCI caught driving under the influence and in possession of marijuana and a weapon in July, but the judge also learned he has only completed 25 hours of service!  That judge said “OH HELL NAW!!!”  and revoked a year of the probation, which GUCCI will now serve in prison.  I bet now GUCCI wishes he’d have gone to the soup kitchen and fed some folks! 

JANET JACKSON is launching a new lingerie line called PLEASURE PRINCIPLE.  It’s a joint venture with Australian fashion designer BRUNO SCHIAVI that will feature some of the finest laces from around the world.  The line is said to have something for everyone with sizes ranging from 32A to 44G and comfort being an important factor.  You can expect the line to make its debut by the end of November, making it a great gift idea for the holidays!  I want her to make me something that is easy to come off like her Superbowl outfit.

DMX is sitting in jail trying to figure out how he can flip his situation.  Well the solution his camp has come up with is to turn his legal nightmare into a second reality show!  The six-episode series,”DMX:THIS LIFE OF MINE,” will follow DMX as he tries to rehabilitate himself, avoid prison, and discusses his battle with depression.  The show is currently being shopped to various networks.  DMX hopes the show will allow viewers to “see and hear with their own eyes and ears” and hopefully come to understand him.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t nead to see a reality show starring DMX, I already know that he’s crazy and think he should just spend the rest of his life right where he is in MIAMI–JAIL!!!!! 

That’s the name of LL COOL J’S new line of children’s apparel that’s set to hit 450 SEARS department stores nationwide on September 7th. 

Not only will LL be launching the new collection, but two days later he’s scheduled to release his latest album, “EXIT 13.” 

LL COOL J is also denying the rumor that he and his wife are having marital problems.  Now you do know that if he finds out who started this rumor, MAMA TOLD HE TO KNOCK YOU OUT. 

The next V103 soul session is with LL COOL J on August 22nd and everybody and there grandmother wants those tickets.  Keep it locked to the people station V103, because that is the only way you can get tickets, winninig them on air.

Comedian and actress SHERYL UNDERWOOD is fighting for her right to remain the president of her sorority.  On July 2nd she was elected president of ZETA PHI BETA at the sorority’s Las Vegas convention.  Well now UNDERWOOD is involved in a lawsuit filed by soro, KIM SAWYER, who claims she actually received more votes in a subsequent runoff election.  SHERYL UNDERWOOD isn’t backing down easily.  There’s a mediation hearing scheduled for September 17th and if not settled then the case will go to trial Nov.13.  I’m shocked that they are acting this way, now if you guys are suppose to be sisters, then just let it be.  The truth be told SHERYL UNDERWOOD is in a better position to take the organization to the next level.  It’s giving me that they have a problem with her look and they don’t want her leading there group.  WHERE IS THE SISTERHOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Folks are mad at TYRA for leaving them waiting two hours at a recent taping of the TYRA BANKS SHOW.  Apparently the ex supermodel turned talk show host could be heard behind the set laughing and talking for up to 120 minutes while an upset and uninformed audience sat and waited.  When TYRA finally came on the set, she didn’t say a word about the delay or acknowledge the audience.  She just started with her script.  You know that I was in the audience, so when she came out and started the show as though nothing was wrong, I called her out on it and walked out.  I WAS WALKING LIKE A TRUE SUPERMODEL!

JERMAINE DUPRI’S restaurant CAFE DUPRI  is officially closed, but that’s not the big news.  The big news is that the employees haven’t been paid for weeks!!  Now that the restaurant is closed it seems they can give up the dream of ever receiving their pay without a lawsuit.  The restaurant was run by DUPRI’S mother, TINA MAULDIN.  According to TINA, the workers have been paid and a “business is only as good as the people who work there.”  She said “Maybe if they would have worked harder, CAFE DUPRI would still be open.”

Mrs. Mauldin now you know better, put youself in those people shoes, how would you feel if you were behind on your bills, you put in a 40 hour week and your pay check bounced.  Now the couple of times I visited the CAFE DUPRI you all were always out of some kinda food and supplies.

Somebody told me that someone paid your son to put his name on the business, that it’s not really his restaurant, is this true?

CAFE DUPRI might be closed, but if i were a former employee, i would meet him at STUDIO 72.  HE WOULD HAND OVER MY CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOUNG JOC is being sued for back child support by his Baby Mama. FATIMAH JESTER, the mother of his 7 year-old son, claims YOUNG JOC owes her $2,000. Apparently, she has trouble contacting JOC and she and her son, AMONI JESTER, struggle while the rapper lives a lavish lifestyle. YOUNG JOC is expected in court September 11th.  YUNG JOC why are you going through all of this drama?  Just pay for a couple of years up front.  You are going to be fine and trust me you will not go broke.  MAMA JOC, YUNG JOC is showing out.
