Rapper Lil Wayne had a preliminary hearing in New York courts about the felony gun possession charges against him. A highly advanced DNA identification technique called low copy number DNA profiling will be used to determine if the weapon can be linked to Wayne.  Well now the rapper could face up to 1 year in jail after pleading guilty to gun possession after retracing his plea after ” problematic” DNA evidence was admissible in court. By taken the plea Wayne avoided trial in which he would have been faced with 3  years.
