CASTER SEMENYA DID NOT WANT TO ATTEND THE GOLD MEDAL CEREMONY

The president of Athletics South Africa, Leonard Chuene, had to persuade Caster Semenya to go to the podium to accept her award.  She was asked to take a gender test and to hear that people thought that she was a boy was not a good feeling.  She asked him WHY DID YOU BRING ME HERE?  YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT ME IN MY VILLAGE AT HOME!  She was not rejoicing.  She didn’t want the medal.  She also said that “no-one ever said I was not a girl but here (at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin).  I AM NOT.  I AM NOT A BOY.

The case has sparked anger in South Africa, where many have said she has been unfairly treated.  Well, I know that this is not the end of this story, TRUST ME!!!!!! SOUTH AFRICA STAND UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She has a right to be pissed off! She is owed an apology!
I really don’t understand people! Someone needs to stand up for
her and make them apologize! JUST GIVE HER THE RESPECT SHE IS OWED!

I love people who stand/die for what they believe in!!! She has my utmost respect for not accepting that gold medal!!!

I wonder how many black americans in this country can do what she did?

For example: A person who is willing to become jobless/homeless in the name of not kissing their bosses ass, not going against their spiritual morals, and not selling their soul for the dollar has the ultimate respect from GOD and me!!!

she does look kinda like a guy so i could see them mistaking what she is but actually making her TEST for it… now that is a little bit too MUCH.

another example of sterotypical perception of what a woman/man should look like.have we become so desensitised by all the porno, girlie mags.. videos of what an American woman should look like? have we forgotten what out African Siters may look like?
