THIS IS A CHANCE OF A LIFETIME! I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING MARY SINCE WHATS THE 411. I AM A TWENTY-SIX YEAR OLD MOTHER OF TWO. I AM CURRENTLY TRYING TO GET INTO MERCER UNIVERSITY TO STUDY PSYCOLOGY. WHEN I FINISH WITH SCHOOL I WANT TO OPEN UP A GROUP HOME FOR TROUBLE TEAMS. WORKING WITH MARY WILL JUST BE A BLESSING AND WILL HELP ME TO LIVE OUT A DREAM.

I’d volunteer to help voice out on females who continue to stay in abusive relationships, acting like slaves to men, and just being plain ignorant of the true power they hold within. It pisses me off that there are too many women out there living in fear of a man in their life, and that will never realize their true potential in life. Man is not your everything, GOD is your everything.

I think this is a great opportunity for me to volunteer as well as learn new ideas and strategies that will enable me to reach my highest potential. I look forward to all this program has to offer.

Let me know where to go. I’m very committed to building up our females - adults and teens. Providing a strong, positive support system for our young and mature women is so gratifying. Let me know where I need to be and I’m there. This is my opportunity to be a blessing to others as I’m blessed for the experience. Thank you for the opportunity….

I feel inspired just reading the other young ladies comments, wow really great! I am a small business owner. I sell custom lace wigs and hair enhancements. I would like to inspire young ladies to work toward strong goals and don’t be side tracked by other people. Always see our self as a success. Women need to realize we can do extraordinary things. I don’t have millions of dollars, but I do have drive, motivation, and determination to be a success. And so should you. Thanks for your time.

This is awesome. I wish Mary J Blige could be cast to play Queen Nefertiti in a role. she is absolutely beautiful on that photo you all have posted. I pray that the role of a father in a daughter’s life be addressed because in his absence many young women are looking for that validation. Go Mary, Go Mary, Go Mary!

FFAWN …CEO MJB!!!! I am so proud simply to even be writing this acknowledgment
of yet another profound and positive move of MJB.
I am a single mother of three children, I hold a law degree and currently am out of work In Atlanta, thus volunteer at any given opportunity. I see my current unemployment as God’s way of making me look around me and share all that which he has given me with others who need it.
I can not tell how much I respect MJB for all that she stands for, except that I met har once at Bloomingdales In NYC and have followed her life, musical career and her finding of true love for a very long time. If anybody can give back, she can as she knows the pain of ordinary women like us have gone through , having made mistakes in our choice of men, addiction , abuse… you name it.
I have to be a part of this , I want to make a difference in another woman’s life that is far from the fact that Im an ex Nigerian beauty queen who inspired young girls…for what i now deem to be all the wrong reasons.
