DAMON DASH built an empire that was worth over 50 million dollars at one time. Now his is waiting on a government check. His world has come down hard after a bad business deals, massive debt and so many lawsuits. He sold his part of ROCAWEAR to Jay-Z for 20 million dollars, so how is he broke. Well he owes the government 2 million dollars in state taxes. A bank has started foreclosure proceedings on his two Tribeca condos. He couldn’t make the 714.99 a month car payments, so a judge ordered the city to seize his luxury Chevrolet Tahoe SUV. A law firm and landlords are suing him for not making his monthly car payments. What else could go wrong you asked, Well his wife that he had that big wedding for back in 2005 has filed for a divorce. Y’ALL BETTER KEEP AN EYE ON HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

too bad for him. i guess the recession done got to him too huh. jay-z is rolling in dough. why don’t he help his boy out. amazing how they are on opposite sides of the coin financially. i guess jay is just a better business man. and his wife ought to be ashamed. this is the time she should really stand by her man. guess she was standing by the money, and now that it’s gone, so is she.

Wow! 20 million dollars!? That wasnt a “bad” business deal sounds more like a “STUPID” business deal. Did he put ALL his eggs in one basket? There has to be so much more to this story. 20 million dollars and suddenly broke???!!! Wow!! Sad.

I would consider and accept whatever excuse Dame Dash has for going broke, but that wife of his has NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER. She made a vow when they got married. GOD will surely punish her for this!

Damon should have learned “money lessons” from Jay Z. It’s his own fault for being broke. All that flashing cars and diamond rings. So silly! Grow up Damon and face the music. I would divorce him too if I was his wife. Why should she go down with his bad mistakes. She’s way too pretty and classy for him anyway!

I really like Damon Dash, and it bothers me that we as BLACK PEOPLE enjoy seeing other BLACK PEOPLE lose what they have instead of just saying “I HAVE NO COMMENT” to their personal affairs. I do hope those of us who enjoy making fun of anyone, be it a celebrity or a 9 t0 5 person we know, understand that if you lose your house, car, or job, don’t get mad when the laugh’s on you now.

Tesh, wake up to real life, His wife is pretty and classy?! We always tend to look on the outward appearance but what REALLY matters is what is in our heart. She made a vow and left the man when he is down on his luck. Aint NOTHING classy about that! That’s foul.

I just wonder why people enjoy it when people fail…
It’s like T.I. says in his song ….enjoy his life as entertainment while he lives life.
These people that like to see celebrities fail have no life….they must feel a sense of having company when people fail…it makes them feel good about themselves
