I saw them perform at Clark Atlanta. Honestly.. Besides T-Pain. They were the best group there
October 5th, 2008 at 5:30 pm
This song is a refreshing change to hear in a time of the numerous negative material that you hear on a daily basis. It has a positive message and a hook that stays in my head for hours. You should play it more.
October 5th, 2008 at 5:59 pm
They performed at the voter registration drive we did at Laced Up sneaker boutique, and the entire block got into their performance. People started to walk in the store from all over just to hear what this positive group was saying. I would love to hear more of this song, especially at such an important time

October 5th, 2008 at 8:40 pm
I do not like the sound of the song. Sorry…the voice over the hook is annoying and so is the first female rapper in the song. I understand the positivity of the song but i must admit, i really hate it.

To the hater! “Tiffany Ross”,
How can you hate a song that has children on it. How motivating are you? Obviously those kids are not on the streets, they are doing something productive with their lives. Instead off some positive reinforcement you bash them. (What a pity ;-( ) I gues you rather listen to “Was up with dat Cookie”, it’s probablly more along your level!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 6th, 2008 at 9:43 am
Rebuilding our children’s values and morals from the ground up. Thank you for providing options for not only our future (children) but also for the entertainment industry. This is a start to changing the youth from listening to pimping, shooting, drugs, sex, to inspirational music. Keep it going. I know you don’t have all the money you need to get the equipment like the major artist who rap but it will come. As well as the youth you feature talents improving with time and grind. I am sure God is blessing you.
October 6th, 2008 at 9:51 am
This song in rotation can really push voters before the election. I applaud the artist. Change. “I wanna be president!”
October 6th, 2008 at 10:16 am

To all my people, we need positive
over negative and this song is the
medicine that the youth need!
October 6th, 2008 at 10:52 am
To those who don’t like this song, keep pressing on, for those who like it - I say sing it everywhere you go. In fact, teach it to your children. If they can sing the rap with the negative words, then teach them something positive. Take the message to the street where it needs to be heard by one and all - from 18 to 80 who can cast a vote or voice an opinion…..We need to revive the Black Voice to make changes in our favor….
October 6th, 2008 at 12:03 pm
That song was so HOT! Put that in the rotation! It needs to be played every hour to make sure we get out and vote and support young positive talent!!!!!!!!!
October 6th, 2008 at 12:06 pm
This is the type of Hip Hop that should be heard more often. It will counter the negativity that Hip Hop has been tagged at producing
October 6th, 2008 at 2:48 pm

Hey,
I heard that song on the radio and I was so excited, I called my sister who has 4 young boys and told her to listen to V-103, “I wanna be President”. Please play it again, she heard it one time, but she wants her boys to hear now. She works very hard to keep them motivated in a positive way. This song is the perfect song for our youths today, with the election coming up and all. We need to win our young people back. Plzzzzz play “I wanna be President” Plzzzzzzzzz!!!!!
October 7th, 2008 at 5:22 pm
My 4 yr old son and I heard that song “I wanna be President,” on the radio and we loved it. Last night we were driving down the street and he said “Mommy, I wanna hear the President song! I’m gonna be President just like Obama!” I was so excited when he said that. V-103, continue to play that song because I think it motivates our youths! “CC”

What a change of pace from the BS in heavy rotation. Great hook - very inspirational. Change starts with a thought. With music like this we may be able to get the next generation back on track.

Asan educator, and commmunity volunteer,I am proud of,and inspired by the positive, uplifting messages that resonate from the hit,”I Wanna be President!” What a great testimony of the talent and vision that is inherent in our culture. With all that said, why not play “I wanna be President,” a message of positivity and HOPE, at every oppotunity that is presented; rather than the negative, vile, messages of some of the other Hip-Hop music? I’ll be listening for your response V-103! ~OBAMA 08~
October 9th, 2008 at 9:15 am
This song is not just for what is happening now. “I want to be President” can be applied future goals, i.e. President of their own company, President of their own destiny but mostly, a song that states that you don’t have to follow the same ole’ stereotype that has been set by the world. You can be more than what you see in your neighborhood. You can obtain more in life if you stay focused on your goals and your ideas. “I WANT TO BE PRESIDENT” should be the anthem for this younger generation!!!!!! You can accomplish whatever you want in life if you remember that there is no stopping a strong force of positiveness.
October 10th, 2008 at 4:33 pm
yo, this is one of the dopest songs, i’ve heard about obama. Please new keep playing this joint, its innovative, great hook and powerful lyrics. We need more positive music like this on the airwaves.

This is a very inspirational song! It would be nice if we could hear it at least once every hour like all of the other songs especially in the morning when the kids are on their way to school and in the afternoon and right before and after the top 8 and 8.
October 21st, 2008 at 12:16 pm
Oh my goodness, I just saw the video and it was awesome. I was so impressed to see so many young people involved with this video. I have sent out a mass email to all my friends across the country to support BA Rock Music. I believe it is the beginning of a positive movement and I will definitely lend my support to make it happen. People… we need to all get involved and support our young (BA Rock Music)!!!!!!!

Miss Sophie,
Thank you so much for playing this song. If I had not went on your website I would not have known anything about this. I can’t wait for my kids to come home so I can allow them to hear the single. I hope someone is able to support these young people so they can’t continue inspiring children like my own. Keep up the good work.
